A return authorization number assigned by your Linear representative must accompany all returned parts or product. All products have date code labeling and/or serial number labeling to determine the warranty period.
Return Product Authorization (RPA) - (Defective Product Only)
All defective products returned to Linear LLC for repair or replacement must be pre-approved by Technical Services and have an RPA number assigned to the return. Please call 800-421-1587 or 760-438-7000 and ask to talk to an Application Engineer or send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org. The Application Engineer will trouble shoot and verify the product defect and assign a Troubleshooting Ticket Number. The inquiry will then be forwarded to Returns to process the RPA.
The following information must be provided to Linear before any RPA number will be assigned to authorize the return:
Returned Material Authorization (RMA) - (Overstock Product Only)
All product returned to Linear LLC must be pre-approved by an Internal Sales Representative and have an RMA number assigned to the return. Please call 800-421-1587 or 760-438-7000 and ask to talk to your Internal Sales Representative. The following information must also be made available before any RMA number is assigned to the return:
